Hi, I’m Kelly.

I’m a 35-year-old mom of four, and caring for people has always been at the core of who I am. I naturally create a space where people feel comfortable, understood, and accepted exactly as they are.

I know something like unwanted hair can feel really personal for some, and that’s why I’m so passionate about electrolysis and helping people feel more at ease and confident in their own skin.

I began my Advanced Microscopic Electrolysis training and apprenticeship with Star Wellness in 2017 and  graduated with honors in December 2018. I worked in the field for a year before taking some time away.

In 2026 I opened Celestial Skin and joined my sister Christa at Star Wellness, offering my services as an independent Electrologist. I’m truly grateful to be back doing what I love.

My goal is to offer more than just a service. I want you to feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for every time you come in. Whether you’re feeling nervous, unsure, or completely comfortable, you’ll always be met with patience, kindness, and zero judgment.

I’m easy to talk to, I listen, and I take my time to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment.

I follow all Health Canada Guidelines, Sterilization and Disinfection Procedures as outlines by the Leeds Grenville Health Unit. Yearly Health Inspection Completed October 2025. 

When you donate blood, they will ask if you have had Electrolysis before and if your practitioner uses disposable probes. YES. We use a brand new, disposable, pre-packaged, sterilized probe for each clien.t. It is immediately disposed of in a sharps container after one use. 

When performed correctly and the treatment plan followed, Electrolysis is absolutely permanent on everyone regardless of hair type, skin color, amount of hair, medical conditions, hormonal imbalances such as PCOS - or any other external factors. I have an amazing reputation as a Master Electrologist and I can assure you that treatments performed with myself will always lead to permanent results.

The only reason Electrolysis would not work is the following:

• Inexperienced Electrologist (incorrect insertions, setting too low, poor magnification, too slow to reach clearances) *See 'Choosing an Electrologist' to learn more*

OR:

• Client continued to tweeze/wax between appointments
• Client wasn't consistent/didn't follow treatment plan
• Client did not understand the process and didn't dedicate enough time for it to work 

Yes absolutely, Electrolysis is equally effective on all hair types and colors. 

The sensation of Electrolysis is subjective to each person. This depends on the area being treated, the setting required to correctly remove the hair and your pain tolerance. Some people can tolerate a 2 hour appointment while others prefer 15 minutes. During your free consultation you will receive a sample treatment so you can see what it feels like before you decide to proceed. 

The magnification your Electrologist uses is extremely important. Improper insertion leads to poor or no results as well as scarring. When you are having such a delicate procedure, you want to be sure your Electrologist has the best view of the follicle so that this doesn't happen. I always recommend having Electrolysis done with a Microscope. The higher the magnification, the more precise the insertion can be. It allows for perfect accuracy and every last hair you want removed can be seen and treated without hesitation. I have been specializing in Microscopic Electrolysis since 2008.

You can shave between appointments if you need to but I need at least 3 days growth or longer to perform a successful treatment. 

Please refrain from pulling hairs by the root once you have started Electrolysis treatments. This will hinder your results and you will never reach permanency. 

The thermolysis method of Electrolysis is absolutely safe for pregnancy and the current is localized to the follicle only. I strictly use the thermolysis method and I have safely treated many pregnant women.

As a precaution, I do not recommend the blend method (I do not use the blend method.) This is an older and slower method of Electrolysis. The blend method is not recommended during pregnancy only because a grounding rod is held and the current is conducted through the whole body; although no studies have been thoroughly completed to determine the safely of this method. 

Yes, with an experienced Electrologist, Electrolysis is safe for darker skin tones. 

Absolutely, but we recommend Microscopic Electrolysis for optimal precision.

Electrolysis is for men and women alike. Women often choose to have treatments for the face, underarms, bikini and legs. Men often choose to have treatments for the ears, shoulders and back.

Yes if you wish. You can apply a topical ointment such as EMLA 1 hour before your treatment. The application must be thick so I can still see the cream when you arrive. It will work better if covered with plastic wrap for the full hour after application. You can wear your wrapping to your appointment and I will remove it when we begin the treatment.

Boys and girls can start having Electrolysis once they have reached puberty. We kindly ask for parental consent if you are less than 16 years old. 

Yes, this is a very common area to have treated, please do not hesitate to ask me. 

Hair grows in many places and to me, no place is considered strange. I have worked on any body area you can imagine. Please do not hesitate to ask me about hair removal for any area. I am private, discreet and professional. 

I do not treat the male genital area. If this is an area you would like to have treated, please contact me and I can recommend someone who specializes in this area. 

For facial treatments you can wear anything you wish, although I always recommend being comfortable for your appointment.

For body areas it is helpful to wear clothing that makes the treatment area accessible. Example: A tank top for underarm treatments, loose pants or shorts for leg treatments... If the clothing is not accessible you can remove the article until the treatment is complete. 

It's ok if you arrive with make-up on, I will remove it before the treatment. 

The nice thing about Electrolysis is that as long as you do not tweeze, wax or pull the hairs by the root after we have treated them, you will never lose the progress we have achieved. It will of course delay results until we can resume your treatments again but you can rest assured any work we have already completed will not be affected.
