My name is Christa Johnson and I am 38 years. I have 18 years of experience in hair removal and skin care. I specialize in Permanent Hair Removal and Skin Anomaly Removal.

In 2007 I underwent my Electrolysis training while I worked as an office administrator at the top Electrolysis clinic in Ottawa. I was able to gain lots of experience and it was here I learned the business aspects of the industry. Interacting with the clients on a daily basis, I saw how life changing the Electrolysis process was. I saw for my own eyes the transformation that took place and the confidence that came flooding back to those who had struggled with unwanted hair for years. 

I graduated the Electrolysis program at Gina's College of Advanced Aesthetics in 2008 and began my new career as an Electrologist. I worked at the Ottawa clinic for many years and soaked in as much knowledge as I could from my mentors. 

My clients told me that I had a unique gift. I quickly became known for the speed of my treatments, allowing me to remove more hair per appointment than the average Electrologist. My clients who were previously visiting other Electrologists were astonished by the efficiency of my results. This ensured my schedule was always booked and my waiting list continued to grow longer.

With a love for Electrolysis and a spirit of entrepreneurship, I decided to venture out and open my own clinic. Star Wellness first came to Prescott in 2013. I first offered my services at LeMar LUXE and then I opened a location downtown on King Street. Due to my reputation for superior results and upscale technology, I serve local clients as well as clients from Ottawa, Cornwall, Kingston and New York.

In my career I have treated over a thousand satisfied clients and accumulated years of experience working on different hair types, skin colors and body areas. I am honored to have the opportunity to help so many with my skill as a Master Microscopic Electrologist. 

I absolutely love what I do and it is not just a job for me, it is a passion. I am a very honest and hard working person. I never judge and I am understanding of each individuals personal needs. I receive so much joy from building peoples confidence. I truly care and I am dedicated to educating people about Electrolysis, Laser and Thermocoagulation. I hope I have the privilege of meeting you and assisting you on your permanent hair removal journey. 

I absolutely love animals and wildlife and have raised many things from tadpoles to raccoons. I love color and crystals and have collected a wide variety of different raw mineral specimens from around the world. I live completely surrounded by 20 acres of nature with my husband Mike. We have 3 cats and 1 dog ~  Simon, Pita, Zeus and Lucy.  Lets not forget the hundreds of wild birds, squirrels (flying too), foxes, raccoons and deer who stop by daily. 

As an expert in my field, I have a great passion and devotion to reach the goals of each and every client. As I offer you my extensive knowledge and expertise, I look forward to delivering you the perfect treatment experience with exceptional results.
